Our award-winning kitchen is headed by Andrew Yates, who comes with an excellent reputation from his time with Meathammer in Glasgow.

Andy is renowned for his burgers and won the prestigious ‘Best Burger in Scotland’ award for three consecutive years while in Glasgow.

The kitchen is open to eat in or take away from 12 noon – 8 pm, Tuesday – Sunday. If you haven’t been in to check out our burgers yet, you’re missing out.

With two seperate function spaces on offer, The Old Inn can cater for any event or private function up to 80 guests. The Pool Room can comfortably accommodate 30 guests, while, upstairs, the back lounge can accommodate up to 80 or 50 for seated events. These spaces are ideal for Birthdays, Stages, Hens, work nights out, product launches and more.

There's been an Old Inn pub on this site since the 1600's. It was originally set up as a Coaching Inn to offer a rest stop, welcoming bite to eat to the many travelling traders of the time. Now, we offer Dunfermline's best selection of ales, craft beers and award-winning burgers to both locals and visitors.

We're situated in the centre of Scotland's historic capital, between the City Chambers, the Town Clock and the famous Dunfermline Abbey.

The Old Inn is also proud to call itself the birthplace of Dunfermline Athletic Football Club, better known as the PARS.
